Who is Zhi Wei Zheng?

Zhi Wei Zheng (pronounced like Z) is a Chinese American author, storyteller, and certified trauma-informed coach who helps analytically-minded men learn to feel, regulate, and express their true feelings. Zhi’s broader mission goes beyond serving men and includes teaching inner care principles to the general public. The bedrock of this work involves helping people develop a relationship with themselves based in self-love—serving as the seed for authentic living.

Zhi began his career as a software engineer working for top companies in the field of high frequency trading, military defense, and data analytics. While he was successful on paper, he was deeply anxious and depressed. Then at the age of 27, a profound spiritual awakening completely changed his trajectory, calling him to leave the corporate world and dedicate his life to serving the collective through inner care. Today, he is the author of Inner Care: A Simple Guide To Coming Alive , a host of wellness retreats, and a facilitator of meditation workshops.

Who does Zhi work with? Zhi primarily works with analytically-minded men — engineers, doctors, lawyers, founders — who can solve almost anything except what they are feeling. The work centers around developing inner skills: noticing what you feel while you feel it, settling a mind that is spiraling, and learning to express one’s feelings without shutting down nor exploding.

To bridge the gap between spirituality and clinical science, Zhi is currently advancing his academic studies in psychology to continually evolve his coaching methodologies.
